#109 | 4 MASSIVE things just happened

Sometimes, life just seems to move at a million miles per hour!

Here are 4 MASSIVE things that happened to me today:

1 – My new niche site went live.

My new site, veganwins.co.uk just launched. Feel free to check it out!

Massive thanks to Web Asset Builders who took care of everything from start to finish! 🙏

2 – I got the keys to my new house.

Thanks to niche sites, we’ve just paid cash on a $1 million house by the sea and will be mortgage-free forever. Boom! 🍾

3 – My husband quit his job.

Today is his last day, and next week he’ll start work as commercial director for my niche site business.

His role is to double the revenue without doubling the traffic. I’m sure he’ll smash it. 🤑

4 – I got a new family member.

After being on the waiting list for 6 months, I finally got the call…

We’ve been matched with a retired guide dog, a Labrador-Golden Retriever cross who will come to join our family next week as a pet. 🦮

What now?

As we approach the mid-point of the year, I’m conscious that 2024 has been a rough ride for many of us.

Half of my websites were wiped out completely with manual penalties for saying too much publicly.

And changes to algorithms meant that my income was cut in half too.

But despite that, 2024 is set to be my best year ever.

And I put all of that down to how fast a one-person business can pivot.

(And having a team of experts to call upon, of course!)

In the time that it takes a big company to agree a time for a meeting, I can be rolling out a whole new strategy.

So that’s exactly what I’m doing.

And this time, I’m sharing everything with you…

My No-SEO Niche Site Strategy

These are the cornerstones of my new strategy:

  • Zero reliance on Google – If they deindex my site I don’t care, LOL
  • Outsource everything – No more tasks on my to-do list, thank you very much
  • Future proof – An email list monetised with affiliates offers the highest level of protection

Here’s the journey of a typical user

Let’s call her Sally…

  1. Sally is a vegan. She sees a Facebook ad that looks like this…

She agrees that one day people will look back and be horrified at the way non-human animals were treated.

So she taps the thumbs up to like the page.

2. The next day, Sally is scrolling through Facebook again while having a poo.

She sees this…

It makes her feel good. She wants to make others feel good too. So she shares it.

3. That evening, Sally is bored during the commercial break of the TV show she’s watching.

She opens Facebook and sees this…

She thinks: “I usually have oat milk in my coffee, but what’s wrong with rice milk??”

“If I don’t click this, I’ll never know. I may one day buy rice milk and something bad will happen but I don’t know what that thing is or how bad it will be. I should find out now before Downton Abbey comes back on”

So she clicks the link to https://veganwins.co.uk/reasons-to-avoid-rice-milk/

(As you’ll see, Web Asset Builders did a stellar job with building the site and all of the content on it!)

4. Sally is reading the article about why rice milk is bad, when she sees this pop up…

“I have been feeling a little tired lately,” she muses. “Could it be my nutrition?”

Sally would like to feel more confident that she’s not making any silly mistakes with her diet, so she enters her email to get the checklist.

5. Sally reads the checklist and finds it really helpful. She makes a mental note to start sprinkling seeds on her salads to make sure she gets enough Omega 3.

Every few days, she gets more helpful emails. She learns about which Quorn things recently had milk sneakily added into the ingredients, and about an upcoming a vegan festival that’s not far from where she lives in the UK.

Then, Sally gets an email about a vegan recipe kit subscription that’s currently half price, so she buys it.

So there you have it…

From spending 5 cents on Facebook ads to get Sally to like the Vegan Wins page, I get a loyal visitors that will return to the website again and again.

And she never used Google at any point!

Of course, the website is the key part of all of this.

And social-first content is very different from SEO-first content.

Luckily for me (and you) Web Asset Builders understand all of that.

They offer a complete Done-For-You service that includes:

I’m all in on this strategy right now, and I’m so excited to share my income reports with you for this public case study site.

P.S. I believe that some people on this list don’t even have a niche site but read my emails anyway!

If you have some other type of business, maybe e-commerce or a local service business,

I just wanted to let you know that WAB can also launch your website for you, hands-off so you can focus on what you’re best at.

Here’s the info on that.

Bye for now, I got boxes to unpack!
