#47 | I wasted a ton of money

Are you tired of feeling like you’re on a never-ending scavenger hunt for info to grow your niche site?

Do you find yourself scrolling endlessly through Twitter, hoping to stumble upon the secret to success?

Or perhaps you feel the opposite!

Do you have so many tips being fired at you that you don’t know where to start?

Well, let me tell you, there’s a better way.

And it doesn’t involve wasting a ton of money like I did.

You see, there are two ways to learn something:

1. The free way.

Keep your wallet where it is.

You can gather so many little snippets of useful info for free.

This way is what I give you when I put out Twitter threads like the one below that suggests 10 ways you can do original research for your articles.

Or, when I mention in an email that I increased my font size to 21 and my line height to 1.6, to make more from ads.

Or, when you watch a video like this one that explains how Josh went from working as a photographer to owning a photography website that makes over a million dollars each year.

2. The fast track.

The second way involves following a step-by-step blueprint.

  • You’ll have a series of videos to watch.
  • A tried and tested plan of action laid out for you.
  • You’ll get spreadsheets and checklists.
  • And a community of like-minded people who are all doing the same thing.

Taking courses is how I learned to follow a process for keyword research, rather than just attacking it willy-nilly (Thanks, Jon)

It’s how I learned that your title and thumbnail are even more important than the content your video (and what great ones look like – Thanks, Luke)

And this morning, it’s how I learned that if you use the Developer version of the Microsoft Edge browser then Bing AI can read URLs that you input. (A gamechanger for AI-assisted content writing – Thanks, Gael)

Whether free or fast, you’re already on one of these paths.

You’re already in the top 1% of people who will succeed online this year.

Most never start or quit too soon.

You haven’t.

And I salute you for that.

For years, I was on the free path.

And it was great!

But over the past year, I’ve been privileged enough to be able to take quite a few courses too.

And my knowledge has grown massively.

Now, I know what you’re thinking.

“I don’t want to spend money on a course. Can’t I just figure it out on my own?”

Yes, you can!

I did.

This is a solid path – so long as you put the hours in.

If you’re willing to devote multiple hours per day, every day, to consuming free content.

And then spend the same amount of time on creating content (the most important part, obvs)

For several years.

You can do it.

I did.

For me, it was the only way.

Because I was broke AF and had babies to feed.

But, could you take the fast track to success?

What’s stopping you from investing in yourself and your business?

I invested a ridiculous amount of money in going to university

With no plan of what job I would get afterwards.

After 3 years of studying and with a 2:1 degree, I got a job doing cold-calling in a call centre.

It was almost the same as the job I had before I spent thousands on my education.

That was a silly move.

I wasted a ton of money.

But, if you will actually put what you learn into practice,

Then investing in a course or mentorship program makes sense.

Plus, think about all the money you’ll save in the long run by not wasting your time on trial and error.

You can skip the free track!

You could use that extra time to binge-watch your favourite show on Netflix or take up a new hobby, like underwater basket weaving.

(Niche site idea?)

But seriously, investing in yourself and your business is one of the best decisions you can make.

And if you’re ready to take the leap, then I highly recommend checking out this training.

I’m deep into the Pro Platinum course right now and I’m blown away by it.

I only wish I’d done this sooner.

The doors are open until Monday 24th April, so don’t wait.

Click here and give it a test drive today.

If you don’t get life-changing value out of the course, if you don’t have time to implement it, or even if you don’t like the font used in the lessons (yes, really!) you can get a full refund.

Now if only universities had such a policy!

Here’s to your success (and your future career as an online underwater basket-weaving teacher)
