#5 About the site I just bought…

Can any of us honestly say that we don’t suffer from Shiny Object Syndrome in our businesses?

I know I do!

I already had too many websites…

I am in the process of selling one –

The sale is agreed for six figures,

The migration is happening,

(I’m not counting my chickens until the money is in my bank account)

But before that sale had even gone through,

I’d already bought myself another website!

Was that a good idea?

Well, I think so…

I think that this new site was a really good deal.

Even if I have to let it sit for a few weeks before I can really work on improving the content.

Plus, it’s giving me the kick up the backside that I need

To finally hire a VA!

I should have done that ages ago.

At the moment,

I’m uploading articles myself

When I could be paying $3/hour for someone else to do it.

That makes no sense.

After asking around on Twitter,

The consensus seems to be that

OnlineJobs.ph is the best place to hire a great VA in the Philippines.

So that’s what I’ll do.

And then kick myself that I didn’t do it sooner.

I also plan to test lots of different content writing services

And let you know which are good and bad.

But first,

I have to spend a week in the Bahamas on an all-expenses paid press trip.

Oh, the life of a travel blogger!

LOL.

Seriously,

Travel is a great niche to get into.

And not just for the free trips.

A lot of travel bloggers quit during the pandemic.

And now people are travelling more than ever.

Plus, the RPMs can be really high.

I have posts that make over $100 per thousand visits, from ads alone.

And I have affiliate deals that pay 50% commission.

Not that I should be tempting you with any more shiny objects of course 😉

Until next time!
